Rory T. Allar, MD
Fall of 2014 saw Dr. Allar join the Spokane Eye Clinic team. He graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire, with a medical degree and a high honors undergraduate degree from the University of Montana in Missoula.

He finished his general surgery internship at Lebanon, New Hampshire’s Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, then went on to Portland, Oregon’s Casey Eye Institute for his ophthalmology residency. He finished a glaucoma fellowship at the University of California Davis Eye Center in Sacramento, California, following his residency.

Using drugs, lasers, microinvasive and classic glaucoma surgery, and other techniques, Dr. Allar is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. He also examines patients in general ophthalmology and does tiny incision cataract surgery. He has experience working overseas to provide medical care.

Kenneth J. Absalonson, OD
Dr. Absalonson attended Mead High School and is a native of Spokane. At the University of Washington, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, fulfilling his undergraduate requirements. After that, in 2013, he finished his doctorate in optometry at Forest Grove, Oregon’s Pacific University College of Optometry.

Following graduation, he returned home to the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, to finish his optometric residency in ocular disease, contact lenses, and cornea. He completed a rotation at Spokane Eye Clinic as part of this program, where he was trained in cornea and specialty contact lenses. The American Board of Certification in Medical Optometry has granted Dr. Absalonson board certification.

Dallin J. Andersen, MD
Dr. Andersen studied neuroscience undergraduating at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he was awarded university honors. Alyanna A. Arzner, OD, FAAO
Dr. Arzner, who was previously Dr. Schild, is an optometrist who is passionate about providing high-quality care and helping patients get a deeper understanding of their eyes. She specializes in diagnosing and treating eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and infections of the eyes in addition to providing normal eye care.
Dr. Arzner graduated from Pacific University in Oregon in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and in 2016 with a Doctorate in Optometry.

Hari Bodhireddy, MD
In September 2015, Dr. Bodhireddy became a member of the Spokane Eye Clinic. After serving as chief resident in ophthalmology at Texas Tech University, where he also got his medical degree and graduated summa cum laude, he did a fellowship in glaucoma and cataract/anterior segment at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City. During his medical education, Dr. Bodhireddy trained for three years in El Paso, Texas. He has also taken part in humanitarian missions to Guatemala, the Navajo Nation, and Honduras.

Andrew G. Cheek, MD
In 2012, Dr. Cheek became a member of the Spokane Eye Clinic team. In 2003, he received his Summa Cum Laude degree from Walla Walla University. He continued on to Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, where he graduated with a medical degree in 2007.
